About The Clinic
The Kos Chiropractic Centre was established in the Winnipeg St. James area in 1960 by Dr. John Kos. Through the 60’s and 70’s Dr. John Kos created a thriving presence in St. James through good practice, a community interest in physical exercise, and by talking about the benefits of chiropractic care on a regular radio show.
Dr. Greg Kos joined the practice in 1987 after graduating with academic honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, one of the most prestigious chiropractic institutions in the world.
Dr. Greg Kos had the rare clinical opportunity to observe and assist Dr. John Kos for seven years before he began his own practice in chiropractic. This was an exceptionally rare opportunity and is indeed a rare occurrence in the chiropractic profession. In addition, Dr. Greg Kos has studied the philosophies of Chinese medicine and acupuncture and has obtained a three year post graduate specialty in physical rehabilitation at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. To date, Dr. Greg Kos is one of two Chiropractic Physical Rehabilitation Specialist practicing in Manitoba.
Dr. Jason Stevens was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, earning his Bachelor of Science at the University of Manitoba. While he attended Palmer College he took over an additional 400 hours of extracurricular education to deepen his understanding of extremity injuries, low back problems, and multiple advanced treatment techniques. During this time he also volunteered hundreds of hours for the Special Olympics in Illinois/Iowa.
